Welcome to The Nōtari Group, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services, including any mobile or virtual notary, loan signing, or professional services offered through our platform. By using our site or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Services Offered
The Nōtari Group, LLC provides mobile and remote notary services, loan signing services, I-9 verifications, apostille processing, fingerprinting, and related business support services. Some services may be provided through third-party vendors or licensed subcontractors where appropriate.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding legal agreement to use our services. By booking a service, you confirm that all documents are legally authorized for notarization and that all signers are present (virtually or physically, as required) with valid identification.

3. Booking & Payments

  • All appointments must be scheduled in advance through our online portal, phone, or email.

  • Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Travel and convenience fees may apply for mobile services.

Accepted forms of payment include: Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, Zelle, or other approved methods.

4. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund (minus processing fees, if applicable).

  • No-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a non-refundable charge up to the full service amount.

  • Late arrivals (10+ minutes) may require rescheduling and could incur additional fees.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must provide valid government-issued identification for all signers.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure documents are complete and accurate prior to notarization. Notaries are not permitted to give legal advice or assist in completing documents.

  • For remote online notarization (RON), clients must have a reliable internet connection and a camera-enabled device.

6. Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service if:

  • The client is unable to provide valid ID

  • Coercion, intimidation, or fraud is suspected

  • The document is incomplete or appears to be forged

  • Any behavior compromises the safety or integrity of the notarial act

8. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for damages arising from:

  • Improper use or interpretation of notarized documents

  • Client-provided errors or omissions

  • Missed deadlines due to delays outside our control (e.g., courier delays, document issues)

Our maximum liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the specific notary service provided.

9. Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted indicates acceptance of those changes.
